Event Details:
Please join us as the Schlein Family hosts Penn Alumni at their family vineyard in Oakville, Napa Valley. Penn Alums Phil Schlein (C'57), his daughter Kathy (C'83) and son Ted (C'86) are graciously opening up their vineyards and gardens for touring. We will meet those who have tended the vines for 30 years, hear about wine making and taste their wonderful wines. Appetizers will accompany the tasting. The Schlein Family honored our Club with a similar event three years ago, which quickly sold out.

Family Friendly Event ~ Tour the grounds, join us in wine tasting and perhaps bring a blanket to spend a few moments relaxing with your family and friends. The wine tasting area is handicap accessible however touring the vineyards and grounds may be limited. Along with the Schlein Vineyard fine wines, non-alcoholic beverages will be available and appetizers will accompany the wine tasting. If bringing your children, you might want to bring along some of their favorite snack foods.

Penn Club Book Scholarship ~ The Schlein family is known for their work with many charitable organizations in the Bay area. They are hosting this event for local Penn alumni free of charge as just one of their philanthropic activities in support of the University.

With the Schlein family generously hosting this event, we are requiring attendees in return to donate to the Penn Club of Northern California Book Scholarship program. 100% of the donations to this scholarship program are awarded directly to local Penn students currently attending Penn to help pay for their text books. A minimum of $20 per person towards the Club Scholarship Program is required for a ticket to this event and will be accepted when you RSVP to the event through our online shopping cart. Of course, more generous donations will be accepted as well! Click here for more information about our Book Scholarship.

Directions and Parking Instructions will be emailed to all attendees prior to the event.

We thank the Schlein Family for their generosity! Click here for more information on Schlein Vineyard.
