As a way of connecting with more Penn Alumni in the Bay Area (yes, we know that you loved Penn, but sometimes wonder, what are alumni events actually like?), the Penn Club of Northern California is doing a series of "class of xx" dinners around the Bay Area. In 2006 we had two for the class of 1994 and 1998 and they were a lot of fun.

We discussed everything from life in New York vs. San Francisco to infants sitting on top of Thanksgiving Dinner tables. If you have or know new parents, check out The Bumbo Seat, http://www.bumboseat.com/; it is one of the 10 Coolest Baby Products of 2005 (Chicago Sun Times). More topics: Private equity deal flow and, well, picking up Hollywood "A" list actresses - what can I say, this topic was more entertaining than discussing deal flow.
