Interviewing
Alumni Interview Program
To aid the Admissions Office at Penn, the Alumni Interview Program of Northern California invites you to help with a vital activity - interviewing local students who are applying to Penn. As Penn becomes more popular, the number of high school applicants has soared, breaking all-time records. Therefore, we have a continuing need for more alumni to interview applicants in the Bay Area.
The commitment involves only a couple of hours to meet with each applicant in an informal environment (at a coffee shop or at your office) to learn more about them and report your thoughts to the Admissions Office. The need for interviewers is most critical from mid January through February to meet regular admissions deadline. However, interviewers are needed in the fall as well, to interview the early admissions candidates.
It is easy to volunteer! Just go to www.alumni.upenn.edu/interviews, complete the registration form and submit your information to Penn. Penn will then assign you to an Alumni Interview Program Committee in your area and send you information about interviewing. Your AIP Committee Chairperson will contact you with applicants to interview.
Many applicants cite their Alumni interview as an essential factor in their decision to attend Penn. It is particularly important for our applicants in Northern California as many applicants are unable to visit the campus prior to applying, and alumni are great ambassadors for Penn! So please join in the fun and rewarding volunteer experience.
If you have any questions please contact Penn Club of NorCal Alumni Interview Program.
Thank You for Volunteering!
